Maybe I Should Just Stay Inside Where It's Safe
I finished my Christmas shopping yesterday. Honestly, Christmas shopping in late December should qualify as an Olympic event. Even though I went to one of the less popular malls, the Christmas crowd followed me. Honestly, do these people just hide during the summer season and then come out of hibernation in December? I guess we're all in the same boat.
I really can't believe that it's only four days away from Christmas.
My family's been dealing with some stuff and it hasn't been very Christmas-y around here, so December 25th's rapid approach is kind of shocking. There hasn't even been much of a cold front here in the South.
But I'm not complaining! Christmas is the best, no matter the circumstances.
It really is, I love it.

Christmas is wonderful, but it really snuck up on me this year. None of my family members' presents are finished yet. :S

I feel ya on both topics. I finished my shopping yesterday and it was ridiculous. And my family has been in a rough patch too, no decorations or anything this year. But as you said, Christmas is STILL the best, and it will be a merry one :)
