I took this shot in Georgia (I'm in the Converse and the burlap Toms belong to my sister) when my Uncle's young adult group went to the 2013 Passion Conference a week or so ago.
I'm in my second week of my second semester of college, and one of the classes I'm taking is a Beginning Painting class. I can paint alright, but who knew painting begins as drawing?! Not I!! Anyways, I had to sketch some black and white pieces for a sketchbook assignment and this was one I chose. A lot cooler as a photograph, trust me!
You know, I am so struck by God's love sometimes. He's so constant.
I have so many things to tell you about the Passion Conference.
For anyone who's ever gone, you know there is such an overflow of sights and sounds and lessons engraved to your soul that words could never capture the whole experience of it all.
I've been praying about this blog for some time.
I'm not exactly sure of the direction God has for me with it, but while it's here I want to use it as a tool to reflect my Savior.
That's an awesome picture to choose to draw! Can i see it when you are done with it? :D I love drawing. So, i think its funny that you have to draw in order to paint because I am awful at painting but i can draw. lol.

ReplyDeleteFor a while I just heard it in the background, but then I actually stopped and just listened. And really thought about the words and how they could apply to ME.
Right now I'm into Toby Mac's song "Want you to steal my show" (not sure if that's the actually title though!)
I want to be good friend, but I want people to see Jesus, not Jenny. =)
